Margara Cortés Maruri graduated in Artistic Metalwork
from the Fine Arts School in Seville and trained professionally with Seville
metalsmiths Jesús Domínguez Vazquez and José Zabala Osuna.
Specializing in embossing, she takes her skills beyond religious metalwork
investigating all professional techniques; casting, creating and constructing
models, patinas and the different applications derived from these, giving
her workshop a multi-facetted character in respect to metal arts. In this
way she can carry out a great variety of works in bronze, brass, silver and
gold. The complete process including the model or first piece (if that does
not exist) can be carried out as well as the production of copies beginning
with an artist`s original, an idea or a sketch.
In the execution of the works, we contribute oru experience to the criteria
and piece of the client, sculptor or designer using the best and most modern
materials existing on the market today, which together with the various disciplines
of classical metalwork ensures that the final result is of the highest quality,
essential in the creation of works of art. We also restore sculptures, lamps,
jewelry, etc. Our workshop is focused on the execution of pieces of maximum
quality, whether unique (one of a kind) or copies. With the aim of offering
our best work, maximum care is given to the entire artisan process an artistic
finish.
